The Four Steps Testing Process
Inspect
- A visual inspection is carried out by our trained technician and involves a comprehensive inspection of the flexible supply cord, plug appliance and socket.
Test
- Once the appliance has passed the visual test the appliance is the tested for the following:-
- Insulation Resistance
- Leakage Current testing
- Polarity
- Earth Resistance
Tag
- If the appliance pasts this test then a tag is completed and attached to the appliance cord. This is generally fitted at the male and of the cord and about 70 to 100 mm away from the end.
Log
- During to testing stage the appliance is given a number and a description and this is recorded in our testing equipment for our records and proof of the test.
It is important to understand that NO DISMANTLING OF EQUIPMENT is necessary to carry out the above
process.
